Missions Ministries

Riverside Wesleyan Church actively supports and encourages short-term (1-4 weeks) ministry work to foreign lands. Assistance that RWC provides is varied and includes: sending workers to construct facilities, lead children's and teen activities, train leaders, share fellowship and spread the gospel. RWC also actively supports ministry work through our involvement in Sacramento area mission ministries. RWC also coordinates its mission activities with Global Partners, the world mission program of the Wesleyan Church.

RWC Missions Closet

The Gift Closet projects for December:

If you remember last year, we collected over 100 scarves (tied together with socks and toiletries) to give to the homeless.  We would like to continue that tradition so-

We will be collecting scarves, socks and toiletries again this year.  If you like to knit or crochet we would love to have you make some scarves.  If you are a bargain shopper and find a good sale, that would be great too!  We would also love to have hotel toiletries if you have extras at home.  (Donations can be placed in the “Gift Closet” basket in the lobby.) (Please, no clothes at this time).

We are helping two families in our pocket community by being a "Santa" for them.  You will find in the foyer three Christmas trees.  Please take a paper Christmas tree ornament from one of the trees and you can help by purchasing the item on the ornament for one of our families this Christmas season.

If you would like to help with any of the above please contact Sandra Puliz at 391-0402 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  Thanks for your support – the Gift Closet Team.
