AWANA - Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed*
Leading Kids to Know, Love and Serve Christ
What is AWANA?
AWANA is an evangelistic, non-denominational organization whose goal is to reach children with the Gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him.
AWANA helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. AWANA offers a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling kids in the church and community.
AWANA uses an award system to motivate children and youth to memorize Scripture and to better understand the Bible. A uniform is purchased to display awards. Each Thursday evening, the children participate in Game Time, Handbook Time (when clubbers recite Bible verses), and Council Time.
